SNAPMATE
SnapMate / Community Guidelines

The community
we're building.

SnapMate works best when everyone shows up as themselves. Here's what that means in practice.

PEOPLE REAL PROFILES, REAL RESPECT COMMUNITY
01

Respect Everyone

SnapMate works because people treat each other well. That means no harassment, hate speech, threats, or targeted insults — toward anyone, for any reason, matched or not.

02

Be Authentic

Use your own recent photos and honest information. Impersonating someone else, using another person's photos, or running a profile for someone other than yourself is not allowed.

Your own photos only.Recent, unedited images of yourself — not stock photos, celebrities, or someone else's pictures.
Accurate basics.Age, location, and intentions should reflect reality, not a persona.
04

Prohibited Content

The following are never allowed, in profiles, chat, or Utopia posts:

  • Nudity or sexually explicit content
  • Violence, gore, or content that threatens harm
  • Hate speech or symbols tied to a protected group
  • Spam, scams, or commercial solicitation
  • Content involving anyone under 18
  • Illegal goods or activity
05

On Utopia

Utopia is SnapMate's daily community feed — posts and short videos from dating profiles, closer to a social feed than a swipe deck. The same rules above apply there: be respectful, be yourself, and keep content within these guidelines. We may limit reach or remove posts that don't.

06

Consequences

Violating these guidelines can lead to content removal, a warning, temporary restriction, or permanent account suspension — depending on severity and history. Serious violations (impersonation of a minor, threats, illegal content) result in immediate suspension and may be reported to authorities where required by law.
