Storage & Security
Your data lives on servers hosted by Hetzner Cloud, with photos delivered via Bunny CDN. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures — including access controls and rate limiting — to protect it from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Incomplete or abandoned accounts are automatically identified and removed through an automated cleanup process. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see Chapter 08.
EU/EEA Rights
If you're located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing.
US Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information under applicable US state privacy laws, including the right to know what's collected and to request its deletion.
Exercising Your Rights
You can delete your account directly within the app via Settings, or by contacting us using the details in Chapter 10. We process deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe.
Children's Privacy
SnapMate is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal data, we take steps to delete it.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
