Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use SnapMate. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate.
Your Account
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Accounts are authenticated via Firebase Authentication. Incomplete profiles may be automatically removed after a period of inactivity.

Using SnapMate means agreeing not to:
Subscriptions & Purchases
SnapMate offers optional subscription tiers — Free, Premium, Gold, and Platinum — that unlock additional features such as increased Likes, Super Likes, and Rewinds. Subscriptions are billed through the applicable app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) and are subject to that store's payment terms. Purchased credits and subscription benefits are non-transferable.
A subscription increases your visibility and gives you more ways to reach people — it does not guarantee a match. A match only happens when two people choose each other; no tier or purchase can create that on its own.
Advertising
The app may display rewarded and interstitial advertisements through Google AdMob. Free features may be gated behind ad views as described in the app.
Utopia
Utopia is SnapMate's daily community feed — a space for dating profiles to share posts and short videos and discover each other beyond the swipe. Anything you post on Utopia should still follow the Acceptable Use rules in Chapter 03. We may moderate, limit reach, or remove content that violates these terms.
User Content
You retain ownership of the content you submit — including photos and messages. By submitting content, you grant SnapMate a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and process it solely for the purpose of operating the app.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, including for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or abuse of other users. You may delete your account at any time via the app's Settings.
Disclaimers & Governing Law
SnapMate is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee matches, outcomes, or the accuracy of information provided by other users — you're solely responsible for your interactions with other users, both within and outside the app.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapMate isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which SnapMate operates. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
